The lab is where it started. Following in my grandfather's footsteps wasn't something I planned — it just made sense once I stopped fighting it. There's a rigor to science that I respect. You run the experiment. You look at the data. You don't argue with results. I brought that same mindset to cards. Research the market. Know the sets. Understand the value. Don't guess.
Games Bring People Together
Science is great — but it doesn't fill a room with laughter on a Friday night. Cards do. Trading does. The hunt for a holo rare does. I've watched complete strangers bond over a binder of Pokémon cards in a way that no journal article ever managed. Gary's Card Shop exists because of that. It's a place to play, to trade, to show off your collection — and maybe lose to me.
